The aim was to evaluate the training program \"Mentally fit in sports clubs\" run by the association \"Irrsinnig Menschlich e.V.\". Trainers are educated about mental health crises.In a pre-post survey (N=181), the importance of the topic of mental health, attitudes and experiences with mental crises were investigated.48% of the trainers (51.9% female, age 32) were concerned about the mental health of their trainees and 73.3% rated the topic of \"mental health\" as important. Their own experience of a mental health crisis influenced their own attitudes (β=- 0,24).The training was able to reach a heterogeneous group in a short time, informing, sensitizing and motivating them to deal with mental health crises.
