[Reflux hypersensitivity: from pathogenesis to diagnosis and treatment].

Reflux hypersensitive (RH) is a type of functional esophageal disorders that can cause gastroesophageal reflux symptoms. Its pathogenesis is not completely clear, but it is generally believed to be related to the abnormal interaction of brain-gut axis, including increased peripheral nerve sensitivity, damaged mucosal integrity, increased central nervous sensitivity and psychological factors. Currently, there is no standardized treatment for RH. The commonly used treatment methods include acid suppression therapy, pain modulators, anti-reflux surgery, psychotherapy, etc. However, these treatments, can only benefit some patients. This article will focus on the above pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment, and further explore the causes of RH symptoms.
