It exhibits abundant active sites, a high specific surface area, a tunable pore structure, and exceptional chemical and thermal stability, making it highly advantageous for various practical applications. The integration of functional components within UiO-66 has been shown to optimize its electronic properties and coordination environment, thereby enhancing its multifunctionality and catalytic performance.
