Thus, promoting collagen synthesis represents a practical strategy for mitigating skin ageing. More importantly, the review provided a detailed summary of natural products with collagen synthesis-promoting effects and highlighted small molecule compounds with potential anti-ageing activity, especially PPARδ agonists.
