Numerous vascular, chemical, genetic, and metabolic disturbances can impede the growth of the CC. Complete agenesis of the CC is the most prevalent abnormality. As a result of improvements in our knowledge and advancements in ultrasonography technology, an increasing number of congenital CC abnormalities have been identified. Prenatal magnetic resonance imaging is crucial to identify related central nervous system abnormalities. Counseling about the postnatal result is still difficult.
