Occupational noise-induced deafness has become the second most common occupational disease in China and has attracted much attention. Relevant animal experimental studies can provide a basis for the prevention and control of the disease. This article respectively introduces the animal strain selection, modeling methods, model identification indicators, and model applications of animal models for conductive deafness, sensorineural deafness, and mixed deafness.
