The patients were categorised into two groups: a control group that received standard nursing care and an observation group that received tailored nursing interventions.</p>\n </section>\n \n <section>\n \n <h3> Results</h3>\n \n <p>The outcomes for the observation group were considerably more favourable, featuring decreased levels of fasting blood glucose (FPG), 2-h postprandial blood glucose (2hPG) and glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c). Additionally, this group reported lower levels of anxiety and depression, along with a better quality of life relative to the control group. Furthermore, the occurrence of hypoglycaemia was notably less in the observation group.</p>\n </section>\n \n <section>\n \n <h3> Conclusions</h3>\n \n <p>Precision nursing significantly improves glucose management, mental health and overall quality of life, while also lowering the risk of hypoglycaemia in older patients with type 2 diabetes.
