However, it is lowly expressed or even not expressed in normal cells. Fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAP inhibitor, FAPI) has a high affinity and specificity for FAP, and significant advances in FAP in nuclear medicine since 2018 have been facilitated by the application of nuclide-labeled FAPI for clinical tumor imaging.
