We describe a rare case of multidrug-resistant <em>S. odorifera</em>, which colonized the urine of a 56-year-old immunocompetent woman with no medical history and no urinary symptoms. The patient was admitted for prosthetic surgery on the left hip for advanced ankylosing osteoarthritis.
