The nanocomposite exhibited excellent chemical sensing properties toward H<sub>2</sub>S gas at 200°C, achieving a sensitivity of 89.93. A proposed sensing mechanism highlights the synergistic roles of Mn<sub>3</sub>O<sub>4</sub> and Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> in gas detection.
