Then it summarizes the strategies of nanomedicine for the treatment of bacterial pneumonia, including inorganic nanomaterials, polymer nanoparticles, natural source nanomaterials and artificial antimicrobial peptides, with a focus on novel nanomaterials for the treatment of bacterial pneumonia (biomimetic nanomaterials, nanovaccines and genetically engineered nanomaterials).
