Synthesis of new 2,4,11,13-tetrasubstituted tribenzo[1,4]dioxocine-7,8-dicarbonitriles
2,4,11,13-Tetrasubstituted tribenzo[1,4]dioxocine-7,8-dicarbonitriles were synthesized for the first time by the reaction of activated aromatic nucleophilic substitution between 3,3′,5,5′-tetra-R-biphenyl-2,2′-diols and 4-bromo-5-nitro- or 4,5-dichlorophthalonitriles.
