However, some limitations restrict their application in this field. Biosensors, as newly emerging sensing approaches, have been developed in this field. The sensitivity, selectivity, portability, and accuracy are key considerations in developing biosensors for detection of contaminations and antioxidants. This was achieved by the application of bioreceptors, nanomaterials, and novel designed technologies. In this review, the role of different techniques, nanomaterials, and bioreceptors is reviewed for development new biosensors in terms of analyzing fruit juices.
