Both CPs exhibited excellent Fe<sup>3+</sup> sensing capabilities, with fluorescence quenching constants of 4.922 × 10<sup>4</sup> M<sup>−1</sup> (CP1) and 3.294 × 10<sup>4</sup> M<sup>−1</sup> (CP2), outperforming their responses to other ions.
