Randomized controlled trials in English or Spanish were included, in which a hysterectomy was performed for benign or malign reasons.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>Of the 1,179 initial results, 9 articles were chosen for analysis. The interventions performed were varied, including massage therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, therapeutic exercise and electrotherapy. Actualización del tratamiento de fisioterapia en la histerectomía. Una revisión sistemática

Introduction and objective

Hysterectomy is one of the most frequent gynecological operations that consists in the surgical removal of the uterus.
