Two new cyclopentanoid monoterpenes from the fruits of Catalpa ovate
Two new cyclopentanoid monoterpenes, catalpovatins A–B (1–2), together with nine known compounds (3–11), were isolated from the fruits of Catalpa ovate G. Don. The structures of these compounds were elucidated based on their spectroscopic data. All isolated compounds were evaluated for cytotoxicity against six human tumor cell lines, hepatoprotective activity and anti-inflammatory activity.
