In addition to a variety of materials, compounds, and diverse designs, they pose a significant electrical, chemical, thermal, and explosive hazard. This article explores the potential for enhancing the safety of lithium-ion battery recycling through a low-temperature pretreatment. The evaporation behavior of different cell types and the impact of pretreatment are determined through penetration tests.
