Against this backdrop, the 13th China-Russia Arctic Workshop convened in Qingdao, China, from October 23–24, 2024, gathering over 90 participants from academia, government, and industry in China and Russia, along with 28 speakers. Key topics discussed included Arctic Humanities Exchange and Cooperation, Utilization of Arctic Shipping Routes, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development in the Arctic, Global Governance, and Innovations in Arctic Science and Technology.
