All the world, about 1 billion people suffer from mental disorders, including about 15% of adolescents. The death of people with severe mental diseases on average occurs 10-20 years earlier than in general population, mainly due to development of preventable somatic diseases. Currently, such disorders are observed in more than 150 million residents of the European Region. The needed medical care in case of such most frequent disorders as depression is provided only to 1 out of 3 people who need it. Despite increased attention to this problem in recent years, it is not yet resulted in concrete results of increasing provision of quality mental health services meeting needs of patients. In the Russian Federation, against the background of predominant coverage of clinical aspects of problem, there is clearly not enough inputs related to resource support of mental service.
