In December 2019, the global pandemic of Covid-19 began and rapidly reached South America. The first cases were reported in French Guiana in March 2020. Many tropical diseases circulate in the region and the possibility of co-infections is therefore high. Here, we report the first case of YF virus-SARS-CoV2 co-infection in a 14-year-old French Amerindian boy who died within nine days.
