The Impact of digital rural construction on grain production increase and carbon reduction
It aims to explore the path of increasing grain production, improving quality, and expanding greenery from the perspective of digital rural construction. Therefore, the evaluation system of digital rural construction is constructed, the provincial panel data in China is used to analyze the impact mechanism of digital village construction on grain production and carbon reduction by mediation effect, regulation effect and threshold effect models. It is found that: Digital rural construction can not only promote the grain production increase, but also drive the reduction of carbon emissions. The construction of digital rural areas has an impact on increasing grain production and reducing carbon emissions through promoting socialized agricultural services and advancing agricultural technology. There is a threshold effect of digital gap. This study contributes to a better understanding of how digital rural construction affects food quality improvement, carbon reduction, and green expansion, and provides decision-making references for food security.
