Recently, it has gradually been applied to screening chemical markers in traditional Chinese medicines. This article reviews the principles and applications of common chemical biology methods, including cell membrane chromatography, affinity ultrafiltration, magnetic bead enrichment, capillary electrophoresis, molecular exclusion chromatography, immobilized fusion target affinity chromatography, etc., in traditional Chinese medicines research.
