Physical activity level was not associated with CKD risk in the overall cohort. However, younger participants (<45 years) showed lower CKD risks, with hazard ratios (HRs) of 0.53 (95% CI: 0.36-0.79) and 0.73 (95% CI: 0.53-1.00) for insufficiently active and active individuals, respectively. Similarly, men exhibited reduced CKD risks, with HRs of 0.77 (95% CI: 0.59-1.00) and 0.81 (95% CI: 0.66-1.00) in these groups. Associations of Physical Activity and Cardiorespiratory Fitness with Incident Chronic Kidney Disease in a Korean Population.
