A third party contacted the journal and reported that this article contains an image in Figure S8 which had also been used in a previously-published article by some of the same authors (Li, et al. 2015 [https://doi.org/10.1039/C5NR01744K]). In addition, the report also indicated that an image in Figure 4 of this article had been re-used, rotated, and manipulated in another article by some of the same authors, which was published subsequent to this article (Li, et al. 2018 [http://doi.org/10.7150/thno.22557]). The authors responded to an inquiry by the publisher but stated that they are not able to provide the original images for the experiments reported in this article. The retraction has been agreed to because the evidence of image duplications across different articles, each of which reports on different experimental conditions, fundamentally compromises the conclusions of this article.
