In the context of our investigation, we observed a striking illustration of this phenomenon. A Michael addition involving <i>gem</i>-difluorovinyl and trifluorovinyl acceptors was successfully achieved, demonstrating high stereoselectivity. This selectivity was further elucidated through theoretical calculations.
