However, renal abscess (or Brucelloma) is remarkably rare. Only 6 case reports have been described in the literature.</div><div>A 34-year-old male presenting with back pain, fever and thick-walled abscess of the left kidney on computerised tomography. Subsequent blood cultures isolated <em>Brucellosis</em> <em>S</em><em>uis</em>.
