Subgroup analysis provided very low to low-quality evidence that using a wavelength between 900 nm and 980 nm (SMD -0.87, 95% CI -1.36 to -0.39; P < 0.001) and an irradiation time of 13-40 s (SMD -0.94, 95% CI -1.35 to -0.53; P < 0.001) are associated with significant pain reduction.
