EIMs are seen in up to 50 % of patients with IBD. [1] Skin involvement is particularly common occurring in up to 15-20% of patients. [1] Skin reactivity presents in multiple forms with unique pathology. Therapy for IBD also may affect the skin directly though inflammatory processes or indirectly due to skin infections.
