This review collects the design principle of COFs and summarizes the design idea, sensing mode, and mechanism of COF-based ratiometric fluorescent sensors. Furthermore, the approaches to achieving a more comprehensive application of ratiometric fluorescent sensors with two emission centers are discussed.
