This superstatistical scenario is one generated by a superposition of gamma distributions, which has already been hinted in some papers. Two time series for the magnitude of SYM-H geomagnetic index have been taken, covering periods between solar cycles 22 and 24, where data of minimum and maximum solar activity have been extracted.
