The lymphatic system is composed of lymphoid organs/tissues and a complex network of lymphatic vessels that transport interstitial fluid, antigens, lipids, immune cells, and other materials in the body. There is growing evidence that lymphatic vasculature is associated with many pathological conditions such as lymphedema and cancer progression and metastasis.
