Unilateral Hypoplastic Ovary with Ipsilateral Partial Hypoplastic Fallopian Tube on Laparoscopy – An Incidental Finding in a Parous Woman

ABSTRACT Asymptomatic unilateral hypoplastic ovary in a parous fertile woman is rare. Hypoplastic or streak ovaries are usually associated with subfertility or premature menopause. We report a rare case of a fertile parous woman who approached us for sterilization procedure. Her ultrasonogram was found to be normal. During laparoscopy, unilateral ovary and tube were hypoplastic.
