The article provides a historical and architectural analysis of the unique heritage of the Soviet era – the community clubs and palaces of culture in Kamensk-Uralsky erected in the 1940s. Changes in the architectural style of these buildings and the principles of their use in connection with the changing political situation in the country are reviewed.
