The use of advanced textile materials in architectural projects makes it possible to create structures that feature strength, rigidity, weather protection, thermal insulation, and optimal lighting. Textile materials are not inferior to traditional building materials and, in certain cases, even surpass them. The study has shown that innovative textile and film materials such as ETFE, PTFE and PVC are widely used in modern architecture. In Russia, the use of such materials in construction is increasing.
