Isolated Cryptococcal Infection of the Thoracic Spine in an Immunocompetent Patient

Abstract: Cryptococcus neoformans is a type of fungal infection, which primarily affects the central nervous system and lungs of immunocompromised individuals. Spinal infections are known to be a rare manifestation of cryptococcosis. Herein, we report a case of a patient with isolated nonspecific spinal lesions at the T10 vertebra.
