The species, [Li2(THF)3(SPh2P)2CSe2] 2, [Li2(THF)4(SPh2P)2CSe4C(PPh2S)2] 3, [Li2(THF)3(SPh2P)2CTe2] 4 and [Li2(THF)3Et2O][(SPh2P)2CTe3C(PPh2S)2] 5 have been isolated and structurally characterized.
