Blood culture results from patients interned between March 2020 and December 2021 (n= 109) were collected electronically from the hospital information system and then analyzed. The following variables presented statistical relevance after an adjusted model as follows: obesity (p = 0.003) and time of use of catheter before infection (p = 0.019).
