The phylogenetic position of the new species within Didymocarpus was examined using nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences. 本文描述了中国广东平远县丹霞地貌特有的平远裸子植物(Didymocarpus pingyuanensis),并绘制了插图。本种可通过其花萼深 5 裂至深 5 裂的程度来与异叶石楠(Didymocarpus sect.其花萼深 5 裂,约占其长度的四分之三。利用核核糖体内部转录间隔序列(ITS)研究了该新种在Didymocarpus中的系统发育位置。根据系统发生学分析和形态学证据,我们提出了两个新的组合,将这两个变种提升为种,即 D. yinzhengii 和 D. gamosepalus。
