His hearing loss was irreversible and resulted in a cochlear implant.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Hearing loss secondary to bortezomib is a known, but very rare, side effect. Hearing Loss in a Patient with Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia Receiving Bortezomib.
