Absolute differences in obesity risk between those who adhere to healthy lifestyles and those who do not had gradually expanded with an increase in polygenic score. Despite a high genetic risk for obesity, individuals can prevent obesity-related morbidities by adhering to a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a normal body weight.
