The most common etiology was post-traumatic (n = 7, 70%), particularly open fractures. All patients were treated with antifungals associated with surgery. The antifungals used were itraconazole in five patients (50%), and voriconazole in another five patients (50%), with a median duration of antifungal therapy of four weeks (range: 3-25). There were no observed deaths within 30 days and one year.
