The incidence of CPSP at 3 months postsurgery was significantly lower in group S compared to group C (18.2% vs. 48.3%, P &lt; .05). There was no statistical difference between the 2 groups in terms of the incidence of moderate to severe pain. NRS scores for postoperative pain at rest and during movement were significantly lower at 4 h and 24 h post-surgery (P &lt; .05, respectively).
