Results from a quantitative survey (n = 238) reveal high competency levels among nurses. Qualitative feedback underscores nurses' crucial role, advocating for patients and communities and enhancing healthcare governance. Findings emphasize the need for nursing education<span> and leadership development to prepare nurses for effective board participation. Future research should explore long-term impacts and strategies to address challenges.
