Newer technologies, such as magnetic sphincter augmentation (MSA), have been promoted as the replacement of fundoplication. However, as time has elapsed, our institution noticed the need for the removal of MSA devices. Although a few reports have described MSA device removals, we provide a deeper explanation of how to perform a robotic device removal.
