In all three synthetic routes, the catalytic activity scope of DPDSPDM was remarkable and general due to having basic (MeSO<sub>3</sub>ˉ) and acidic (SO<sub>3</sub>H) sites, and reasonable mechanisms were displayed to support this high performance.
