Sebanyak 73 karyawan hotel menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dan pelatihan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kompetensi, yang diukur berdasarkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman karyawan, terbukti menjadi faktor penentu utama dalam kinerja. Semakin kompeten karyawan, semakin baik pula kinerja mereka. Pelatihan, di sisi lain, membantu meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan dengan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, meskipun pengaruhnya tidak sebesar kompetensi. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi kompetensi dan pelatihan memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap kinerja karyawan dibandingkan dengan masing-masing faktor secara individual. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hotel perlu berinvestasi dalam pengembangan kompetensi dan pelatihan karyawan untuk mencapai kinerja yang optimal.Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dan pelatihan adalah dua faktor penting yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di BATIQA Hotel Palembang. Pengaruh Kompetensi dan Training Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di Hotel BATIQA Palembang
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan di BATIQA Hotel Palembang. Sebanyak 73 karyawan hotel menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dan pelatihan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kompetensi, yang diukur berdasarkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman karyawan, terbukti menjadi faktor penentu utama dalam kinerja.
