However, the use MSAs and myositis-associated autoantibodies as an adjunct for disease evaluation is thought to provide a cost-effective personalized approach that may not only guide diagnosis but aid in stratification and/or prognosis of patients. This review provides a comprehensive overview of contemporary autoantibodies that are specific or associated myositis.
