Sixty-one male patients with perianal fistulas, operated on at Department of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, completed a self-administered questionnaire including the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) score. The median IIEF score of the postoperative patients was significantly higher (24, range [10-25]) than that of preoperative patients (22, range [5-25]), <i>p</i> < .0001.
