PRODUCTION AND MODERNIZATION OF T-34-85 TANK IN POLAND

The production of T-34-85 tank in Poland initiated a period of dynamic development of the arm industry. Many new enterprises were established and a number of others were expanded to produce individual components that made up the final product in the form of a tank. At the same time, this tank became the object of comprehensive research and analysis, which was reflected in numerous scientific and research projects aimed at modernizing this vehicle and improving its combat capabilities. The result of this work was a package of modernization devices that allowed the construction of new versions of this tank, designated as: T-34-85M1 with improved operational parameters, T-34-85M2 prepared to overcome deep water obstacles and T-34-85M2D as a command vehicle, equipped with additional means of communication.
