College teachers should fully integrate China’s excellent traditional culture, integrate “curriculum ideological and political education” into practical teaching to enhance students’ cultural confidence, and promote China’s excellent traditional cultural ideas[1]. “Integrated English” as a core professional course shoulders the dual mission of language learning and cultural exchange. The long-standing Chinese culture provides a rich source for the ideological and political courses of College English majors. This article, from the perspective of cultural confidence, combines the current situation of English major teaching in university education, analyzes the significance of developing ideological and political courses for College English majors from the perspective of cultural confidence, and explores effective ways to implement ideological and political education for College English majors from the perspective of cultural confidence. 摘要

随着全球信息技术的飞速发展和大学英语专业新教育理念的不断深入,大学英语教学不再局限于帮助学生打下扎实的英语语言基础,更重要的是培养学生的跨文化意识、文化认同感和民族自豪感。高校教师应充分结合我国优秀传统文化,将 "课程思想政治教育 "融入实践教学中,增强学生的文化自信,弘扬我国优秀传统文化思想[1]。"综合英语 "作为一门专业核心课程,肩负着语言学习和文化交流的双重使命。源远流长的中华文化为高校英语专业思想政治课提供了丰富的素材。本文从文化自信的视角出发,结合大学教育中英语专业教学的现状,从文化自信的角度分析开发大学英语专业思想政治课程的意义,从文化自信的角度探索实施大学英语专业思想政治教育的有效途径。作者以《当代大学英语精读1》课程为例,从文化自信的视角探究教材中的思想政治元素,设计了教学目标与思想政治目标相结合的教学大纲,探索了在大学英语教学中落实思想政治教育功能的实践路径。
